What we require
Mini Sportz is what is known as the ‘data controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We take your privacy seriously and will only use personal information about you and your child to provide the services you have requested from us and administer your account.
We collect personal data from you to be able to deliver the services you have requested. This includes your and your child’s name, your contact email address and mobile telephone number and your child’s date of birth, to allow us to provide the service requested.
In addition, we will with your consent, seek permission to collect further detail on specific medical and relevant health-care details and history necessary to ensure the welfare and safety of your child.
Why we need your data
We need this personal data in order to provide you with our services and enter into a contract with you. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.
Who we share your data with
In order to provide our services, we may, occasionally, appoint other organisations to carry out some of the processing activities on our behalf. These may include, for example, technology hosts, printing companies and mailing houses. In these circumstances, we will ensure that personal information is properly protected and that it is only used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Why we would prefer you opt-in to our communications
When booking for the first time, we would prefer you to opt-in so that we can tell you about any offers or when rebooking time comes around. Our classes can be very full and have waiting lists, so we would rather we make sure you know when it’s time to rebook. If you choose not to opt-in we will announce rebooking schedules at class and on our Social Media platforms.
All offers or information will only be from Mini Sportz. We will never sell or share your data with others without your consent and your decision to do so unless required by applicable law or pursuant to a court or similar order.
Your rights
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Simply email Mini Sportz through normal channels and we will confirm when we have done this. If you wish a copy of all information held, please email the same contact. You have a number of other legal rights in respect of your personal data, please email Mini Sportz for further details. If you believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
How long do we keep hold of your information?
We will keep your and your child’s personal data for as long as he/she continues to participate in any of our Mini Sportz classes or holiday camps, and for the period of time afterwards required by the relevant statutory and legislative guidelines that apply.
Should you need any further details about this privacy policy please email Mini Sportz.
